Editorial policy

Articles on the Fanficia blog are signed "Fanficia Editorial". This page explains who is behind that byline and how each article is made.

Who writes the blog

The blog is run by the small Fanficia team. Articles used to carry the names of invented author personas. We removed those bylines: readers deserve to know who is actually responsible for a text, so every article is now published under the editorial team.

How we use AI

We draft with the help of language models: they help with structure, examples and the Ukrainian, English, Russian, Spanish and Portuguese versions of each article. Before anything is published, a human editor reads it, cuts the boilerplate, checks fandom terminology and rewrites whatever sounds unnatural.

Fact-checking

The editor checks canon names, events and timelines against the source material and fan wikis. Descriptions of other sites and tools rely on their public pages as of the article's update date. We never publish invented tests, reviews or quotes.

Corrections and updates

Found a mistake or something out of date? Email support@fanficia.com. We will fix the text and change the "Updated" date on the article page.

Links to Fanficia

Fanficia is a fanfic generator, so articles link to it and to the story catalog. We do not dress up promotion as an independent review: when we compare Fanficia with other tools, we say so.
